Two Nine

I turned 29 today. It was rather uneventful. Of course, there are festivities set to kick off around midday Friday :D

While I'm here I'll give a quick wrap up of what's been going on.

Saturday a week ago I went to see the season launch for the V8 Supercars at South Bank. Of course, I had my camera with me and got plenty of pics.

This weekend just gone was a very physical weekend - first, a spit roast at New Farm Park with the work crew on Saturday, kicking & throwing footballs etc for a few hours, then a 5km walk as part of a fun run first thing Sunday morning, and finished up with a game of netball Sunday evening. I had a pretty bad fall near the end of the game, too, so I've been extra stiff and sore, not to mention minus a bit of skin off my elbow.

Monday night I went to pick up a treadmill, as part of my new fitness kick I've been on for a few weeks now. Unfortunately they were all sold out, so I picked up an exercise bike instead.

Then last night a few of us from work went to a trivia night at Union Jack's. We didn't do too bad, but we could have done better. But for $10 for a meal, a pint, and a trivia contest it can't be anything but a good night :)

This weekend I'm heading out with friends on Friday night, and then hitting up the Douglas Fir EP Launch at the Zoo Saturday night. Sunday is Round 2 of the Driftzone Drift Comp, so I'm planning on going out for some more photography experience, and then netball again that evening.

Busy busy busy...
